Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions explain the general terms that apply when you contact or engage BT PEST TERMINATE for pest inspection, treatment, monitoring or related services. Please read them before confirming a service. The specific quotation, service report or written agreement for your job may include additional terms.

1. About our services

BT PEST TERMINATE provides pest management services for residential, commercial, institutional and construction premises, subject to service availability, site conditions and the agreed scope of work. The recommended method and treatment plan may vary according to the pest species, level of activity, building design, access and other site-specific factors.

2. Inspections, quotations and scope of work

Any preliminary advice given by telephone, message or from photographs is an initial assessment only and may not identify the pest or the full extent of an issue. A site inspection may be required before we can recommend a treatment or provide a final quotation.

A quotation describes the work included, the price and any stated exclusions or conditions. Work outside the agreed scope may require a revised quotation and your approval before it proceeds.

3. Booking and access to the premises

Service dates and arrival times are subject to confirmation and operational conditions. The customer must provide safe, timely access to the relevant areas and ensure that an authorised representative is available where required. Please tell us in advance about access restrictions, sensitive areas or other conditions that could affect the work.

4. Customer responsibilities

Before treatment, customers must follow the preparation instructions provided by our team. Depending on the service, this may include clearing access to treatment areas, storing or covering food and utensils, securing pets, and arranging for occupants to leave an area temporarily. Customers should disclose relevant site information, including known hazards, water leaks, building defects, previous treatments and any pest activity they have observed.

After treatment, customers must follow the aftercare, ventilation, re-entry and cleaning instructions given by our team or required by the product label. Do not disturb treated areas or baiting and monitoring equipment unless instructed to do so.

5. Treatment results and limitations

Pest management outcomes depend on the pest species, infestation level, site conditions, sanitation, building maintenance, neighbouring activity and compliance with the recommendations provided. Some treatments require time, follow-up visits or continued monitoring. A single service does not guarantee permanent elimination or prevent pests from returning.

We will explain relevant treatment limitations and any recommended follow-up work as appropriate to the service. Any specific performance commitment or warranty applies only where it is expressly stated in writing and is subject to its stated terms and conditions.

6. Pesticides and safety

Where chemical products are used, they will be selected and applied for the agreed service in accordance with applicable requirements and product-label directions. Customers must observe all safety instructions provided, including restrictions on access and re-entry. Tell our team about any particular site sensitivities before work begins so these can be considered in the service plan.

7. Fees and payment

Service fees, payment timing and any applicable taxes or additional charges will be stated in the quotation, invoice or written agreement. Customers are responsible for paying the agreed charges by the stated due date. Additional work or return visits not included in the original scope may be chargeable and will be discussed with the customer where practicable before proceeding.

8. Rescheduling and cancellation

If you need to reschedule or cancel a booking, please contact us as early as possible. Any cancellation charges or costs for work already carried out, materials committed or visits made will be handled according to the quotation or written agreement for the service.

9. Termite services and warranties

Termite inspection, treatment, baiting and monitoring are subject to site-specific conditions and the agreed scope. Pre-construction and post-construction treatments are not interchangeable and may have different specifications and limitations. A warranty, including any termite warranty protection product offered through BT PEST TERMINATE, is valid only if documented in writing and subject to the applicable policy or warranty terms. Do not rely on verbal statements as a substitute for the written terms.

10. Property, access and pre-existing conditions

Customers should identify fragile items, concealed services, restricted areas and known defects before work starts. Where treatment requires drilling, access panels, moving items or other site work, the method and any making-good arrangements should be agreed in advance. We will discuss material risks that are reasonably apparent from the agreed scope, but an inspection may not reveal concealed or inaccessible conditions.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, any responsibility for loss or damage will be assessed in light of the agreed scope, the circumstances and the applicable written service terms. Customers should notify us promptly if they believe a service-related issue has occurred so that it can be reviewed.

12. Complaints and follow-up

If you have a concern about a service, contact BT PEST TERMINATE and provide your name, service location, service date and a description of the issue. Photographs or relevant service documents may help us assess the matter. We will review the information and advise on appropriate next steps, which may include a follow-up inspection.

13. Privacy

Personal information supplied when making an enquiry or booking will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for further information.

14. Changes to these terms

These general Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The version applicable to a particular service should be read together with the quotation, invoice, service report, policy or written agreement issued for that service. If documents conflict, please contact us to clarify the applicable terms before work proceeds.

15. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are intended to be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, subject to any mandatory legal requirements that apply to the customer or service.
